Pimples can happen to anyone, so there’s no need to feel bad or ashamed about it. The cause of someone’s pimple can be anything; however, it is mostly dirt and germs getting trapped in your pores. It can be your monthly period triggering it, sometimes, it’s just the hormones again, some people even attribute theirs to their diet at some point, while some just show up because of makeup that clogged the pores.  It’s really no big deal as a lot of girls go through the same thing. You just need to do the right things to ensure it doesn’t become an acne scar along the way.

  1. Stay away from very oily foods, sugary soft drinks and sweets:

These categories of food will do you more harm than good. Avoid them as much as you can as they are not even good for the body in general. Oily foods especially can cause your oil glands to produce more oil than your skin needs. In fact, check your diet entirely and be sure you are getting just enough of what you need and less of what will do you no good.

   2. Drink lots of water:

Drinking water is good, drinking lots of water is better for you. It improves your digestive system, flushes out toxins, fills your body with rich nutrients and helps fight pimple-causing germs thereby resulting in a clearer and glowing skin. Make it a habit to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning and also try to keep drinking often throughout the day as it also stops your skin from getting too dry and keeps it healthy.

  1. Don’t let stress get the best of you:

The problems of the world are not resting on your shoulders so there’s just no need to lose sleep over something that will still pass away with time. When you feel stressed, take deep breaths, relax and don’t allow it get to you. Shake off stress as much as you can. Go easy on yourself and stop allowing your body to go overdrive all the time. The less stressed you are, the happier your skin will be.

  1. Stay well-rested:

Our day to day activities can leave us exhausted no doubt, but the best we can do for ourselves is to rest when we need to. Always get enough sleep and exercise right as this will help keep you cool and calm at all times.

  1. Get Rid Of Dirt And Dead Skin On Your Face:

Getting rid of dirt and superficial dead skin on your face is a great way to leave your face smooth as there would be no breeding ground for pimples. To do this, there are many ways to get rid of dirt and dead skin. You can exfoliate in many ways but don’t think too much, you can use a simple bran mask to achieve this. Bran is the chaff from cereal grains. To make a mask from this, take 2 teaspoons of fine bran, add a quarter teaspoon of dried yeast, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of water to form a paste. Gently massage this on your face especially areas on and around the nose and chin area. Avoid the eye areas and rinse off with warm water after leaving it for 1-2 minutes.

3. Steam Your Face Instead Of Popping Or Pressing Any Pimple That Appears:

Popping or pressing a pimple can push more dirt into your skin which can cause swelling, redness or even a small wound; and this can leave you with a black spot on your face. You can try steaming your face instead as this helps open your pores, which helps get rid of dirt and oil that can get trapped in your skin. To do this, pour hot water into a bowl, cover your head with a towel to trap the steam better, bend over the bowl and let the steam touch your face for a few minutes. Just don’t get too close to the water to avoid getting burned.

4. Always Keep Your Face Clean:

Have it in mind that washing your face with warm water and mild soap in the morning and also at night will save you a lot of pimple trouble. You can also go ahead and rub a little cream or lotion afterwards to lock in moisture and prevent your skin from getting too dry. This Deep Tissue Moisturizer Rich in Retinol, Avocado Oil & Vitamin E will do just fine.

5. Keep Your Hands Away From Your Face As Much As You Can:

Unless you are washing or applying makeup, try not to touch your face with your fingers too often. It’s hard, but any dirt or germs that are on your hands can cause your skin to get infected and leave room for pimples to breed and grow on. It is very important to wash your hands whenever you want to do anything on your face. Always have a very clean handkerchief handy if you need to do anything on your face when you step outside your house.

6. Use Pimple Removers:

If you notice a pimple on your face first thing in the morning and it gets you frustrated because you want to step out that day looking flawless, this Sticker For Acne/Pimple/Blackhead/Blemish/Scar Remover is for you. It works immediately. All you have to do is place it on your face and allow it to stay for a while before pulling it off. The pimples would always get stuck on it and come off too. Use a good moisturizer like this NatureFace Organic Gluten-Free Facial Moisturizer after each peel-off to help keep in moisture.

7. Tweezers:

Some persons who don’t mind can go ahead and get this Professional Antibacterial Black Head/Pimples/Acne/Blemish Needle Extractor or this Facial Care Stainless Steel Needle For Acne/Black Spot/Pimple Remover. It also works immediately and all you have to do is to latch it on the pimple and pull. Make sure you have a soaked cotton ball with you to clean up any mess.
