Making your own homemade cocoa butter
Ingredients needed:
- 1kg of dry cocoa beans
- 2 cups of water
Procedure:
- Peel your cocoa beans and grind them to powder form.
- Pour water into a pot and heat till it is boiling.
- Pour the cocoa powder into the water and let it start cooking.
- You stir occasionally to avoid caking on one side. Keep doing this for one hour.
- After one hour the cocoa would have sunk and the oil will remain floating.
- Bring it down, let it cool and sieve the oil.
- After some hours your cocoa butter would have been set and ready for use.
- Get containers to store them for sale or personal use.
